Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our donation pickup process.
What condition should items be in?
Items should be gently used, clean, and in good working condition. We cannot accept items that are broken, heavily stained, or otherwise unusable as they cannot be given to families in need.
Is the donation pickup free?
While the donation itself is a charitable act, we charge a nominal fee for the pickup and transportation service to cover our labor, fuel, and disposal of any items that the charity cannot accept.
Where do my donations go?
We partner with several registered charities across the UAE. Depending on the type of items, they are either given directly to families in need or sold in charity shops to raise funds for local causes.
Do you provide a tax receipt?
We can provide a pickup receipt from 'Take Your Junk'. For official tax-deductible receipts, you would need to coordinate with the specific charity partner, though tax-deductibility works differently in the UAE compared to other regions.
